There were alot of bent wheels at this event and many motors crossed the finish line minus a tyre or two!

A big hammer soon has it sorted and ready for another lap.

When it all goes wrong and you need a work shop fast... What better than having Ripon Land Rover and their Top Mechanic at hand!

This motor needs wings! - It spends more time in the air than on the ground. Seen here at Driffield (Part of the 'British Off Road Championship' event)

Whitworth March 2005 - 3 Miles of rough, rocky terrain. This event was hard on the motors and many racers were returning to the pit area with damaged tyres!

Racing at Durham - I had the pleasure of navigating at this 2-day event. Slim managed to finish first in class and walk away with a big shiny trophy!

This picture was also taken at Durham over the August bank holiday 2005. Even though we look calm giving the thumbs up it was all go winding our way through the trees!

Simon showing off at Ripon! Entering a 90 right at 60mph tends to have this effect on vehicles. Simon added that he was in full control but the look on his navigators face and the fact that he needed a clean pair of pants said it all!!!

Simon is seen here climbing out of a big hole at Loversall, Lincolnshire (November 5th/6th 2005). Sat in the passenger seat is Amy braving the harsh weather and Slims driving!

Slim's Motor spends more time in the air than he does on the ground! This may help explain how he gets so many miles from his tyres, ether that or he just drives like Miss Daisy!

Taking the plunge at Wickenby - March 2007

Yet again, Slim goes reaching for the sky. He claims it is a faster & cleaner way of checking for damage under his motor looking at a photo!
